Wrong Fertilizer

Hi Guys,

I had a spot of bother with my 3 week old plants. A lot of the lower leaves were beginning to yellow and spots of dead leaf tissue were appearing. I did my homework reading the forums and a couple of books and decided it was a fertiliser problem. I had used Miracle Grow about a week ago and things went pear shaped from there. I vivited the local garden centre, got some Epsom Salts and high Nitrogen general plant food and give 'em a rinse. Amazingly, the chlorosis is already disappearing, and no more emerging. Just goes to show how quickly potted plants respond to a little TLC.

This post is to further warn growers off using Miracle Grow, as it doesn't have the correct NPK balance to grow a fast growing plant such as Cannabis. Anyone else had these problems? What ferts are favourites with the growers on UK420??

Regards

you might have used a mix that was a bit too strong, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with miracle grow i've been using it since day 1 with no prob's, as with any ferts very weak doses every few weeks seems best.
