If you are going to grow Gelato, then grow the best genetic line available - Gelato 41. This variety is derived from the Girl Scout family and is sometimes known as Bacio Gelato by the west-coast connoisseurs. This is a sweet and tasty feminized variety which takes around 8-9 weeks in bloom. THC levels in good conditions are well over 20%. Repeat growers love Gelato 41 for the guaranteed potency and peaceful, calming indica effects and long lasting high. It’s a subtle blend of relaxation with an uplifting element to the high which can be quite motivating. In higher doses , Gelato 41 is simply as good and strong as it gets with heavy yields. Like all Gelato’s, this is easy and straightforward to grow.

I think @tokenrollhas done it, go to the seedstockers main thread and look for the “White House perpetual strain, thingy” and you’ll see a diary for it.

buds looked epic

Has anyone grown this Gelato?

I'm two weeks into flower with them now, nice easy grow so far, no issues with germing etc.

The plants are all fairly equal in height, they seem fairly squat/stocky and I don't think I'll have any issues with stretch height in the tent (I put them into flower at around 17" tall).

Here's 4 of them in a 1.2x1.2m area (the light does make them look a little yellower than they actually are)

@lennyd79 A bit late of an answer to your question but yes I have grown out 3 of the Seedstockers Gelato 41 Fems. I have a partial diary but I got the flu near the end just before harvest and was wiped out so didn't complete it however I have been smoking on it for a few weeks and just opened a jar that was curing and its a great smoke. I have a few more of their bean in the fridge so intrigued to crack them in the future.

Out of the 3 plants they were all the same pheno and the buds were dense as hell and quite a good size. No idea of weight I'm afraid as I just never weigh it but its a good yielder for sure. They responded well to topping and recovered really well and these were a pleasure to grow with no problems what so ever. Have a look at my diary for a few pics of them but I'm afraid they aren't the best pics.

Smoke wise...its strong! I'm an all day everyday smoker and I save the 41 until later in the evening once the kids have gone to bed, my wife says it makes me look wasted! Regarding the taste I can occasionally get a minty choc flavour but there is just an overall sweetness to it so if you are after a sweet tasting cookie style strain you won't go far wrong with this.

So from me it was 100% germ, hassle free grow, great looking and feeling dense buds and strong as you need, like I say if you're after a west coast style bud you won't go far wrong here!

If its anything like this one and that's what you are looking for you will love it! They really were easy to grow just not a wake and bake during the week!

@Kush Lover - thanks for great report on this strain. I'm a lightweight these days and recently been eating butter a lot more than smoking but my Mrs likes the stronger strains. I reckon I will pick a few of these seeds up. Thanks

Cheers Mark!

Here's how they are looking now. Few of them are being flushed and will be chopped this weekend, I'll give some of the others another week. Pics just on my phone so not the best...

They were a pleasure to grow, nice bit of variety with the different pheno's but every plant has a nice amount of chunk to them.

Lots of frost too, can't wait for a sample! :smokin:

Hey @Seedstockers-Mark,

Whats your opinion for the Fast Gelato 41 as a GG at Lat 52 SE UK ? Have you had any GG test pilots reporting on this strain ?

Approx finishing times and mould resistance?

I want to try this strain as a wild card for 22.

Thanks In Advance.
