Fast Diesel R.G.S.C. Flowering Diary

Recommended Posts

Hey folks!  @panik has been kind enough to let me roll out a wee flowering diary here on the sub forum.  The strain growing here is the fast diesel.  Ive just potted on into finals so we will make a guess on when to flip.  Ive taken a few pics of the set up and a few potting on pics.

They went into finals two days ago i reckon.

I think i popped these seeds around the 22nd of may and have potted on a few times since.

So there are 5 fast diesel pre pot up.  Cut flower pots stolen and modified.  Bleached and clean.large.20210708_175811_480x640.jpglarge.20210708_180602_640x480.jpg

Here are the shiny, shiny things.  150w hps bare bulb.  New bulb fitted.  280w of custom built cxm led, carbon filtered air in (middle), e.c. fan duct carbon filter air out. Pushing through. (Left), couple of blowy things.  Some probes and stuff.

large.20210708_190229_480x640.jpglarge.20210709_001021_640x480.jpg

Potting on was as stress free as it gets.

And here they are immediately after potting on.

Didnt seem to get too much transplant shock.

Any questions just shoot.  I hope panik remembers letting me do a wee diary in here!

Note to self: use more emojis you :wanker: folks love that shit.

Ive done the odd one here and there and loved it.  Felt it deserved a run with some conviction as its always been on the back seat.  Really looking forward to getting the growing bit done!  So that i can chuff it all.

No water since potting on, just a good foliar drench every few hours.  You can probably see the residue on the leaves.  I alternate between water and foliar feed sprays.  The fast diesel dont seem to have missed a beat from potting on.

A few today pics.

Plenty of preflowers showing despite running at 24/0.

Have a good one folks.

;)

Thanks for the kind words @CannaKay

Thanks for the karma @Dodgee and the kind words.  I've never done her justice so this diary is to give the fast diesel her own catwalk this time.

Hope i can get across the line without too much trouble!  They had a shakey start but I think we all get that a bit more these days with leds.

You can see in the lower leaves.  I didn't remove them to make pretty pictures.

A bit of chempak calcium and Epsom salts later.......

Sorted. :yahoo: For now...........

Take care folks and fucking behave in here, we got a mod subbed and a great fucking gorilla on the door.  Keep your nose clean sunshine.

Got a wee monitor and app for keeping an eye.

Bit hot in there but the plants can handle it.

Just bluetooth so no remote alerts but it works fine for less than £20

Ive noticed i seem to have made these plants a bit two tone.  Newer growth is a totally different colour to older more mature leaves.  Newer growth is lime green, older leaves are more like a dark mossy green.

Crack on regardless i say. :smokin:

Soil is a simple affair. In this case its 130% sound as fuck.  20% john innes #3, 80% jacks magic, 30% perlite.  Works o.k. but needs a bit of epsom & calcium.

If anybody cares to argue i use a 10 - 11 ltr pot.

This is so i can fit the extra 30% of awsomeness in.  You cant argue with simple maths.

My soil is 30% pure awesomeness.

So much so that i only put 7L in the pot.  Any more than 7l would spill out of my 10 - 11l pots.

Due to, simply its volume and awesomeness.

I have also mulched a bit on top which may bring me up to  140% soiliness.

First watering last night with a tiny touch of maxi crop brown.  10% run off after 30 mins collected with a sponge.  Gave the top soil a culture mix with the mulch of seedling compost and orchid bark.  Hps lamp is off for now to reduce temps.

Tonight:

Gave a heavy, heavy foliar drench with water only.  Lights turned down to lowest.  Will let the water run off the leaves and then crank up the light.  Getting rid of foliar feed residue and working the stomata a bit.

;)

Keep clean.

4 x cxm 70w pucks @ 75% and a bare bulb dual spec 150w hps running tonight.  I prefer to blaze during veg then run things subtle in flower.  Thats me though.

No topping, training, lst, fimming etc done so far.

Didnt run the hps.  Ran the cxm 280 @ 100% instead.  They seem ok.  Gaining volume and height now.

Still no fim, top, bend, lolipop, nor fek all in that department.large.20210714_002924_600x800.jpglarge.20210714_002900_1024x768.jpglarge.20210714_002841_1024x768.jpg

I will add a bit of support soon.  The green poles are held outside the pot by the elastic bands so we dont mess with the roots.  They will lie at an angle.  They will not point straight up but hey ho.  The height of my first gusset is the same height as the poles.

second gusset is not fixed in place yet.

I hate the breathing in tents do.  The veg netting cable tied in place and two gussets build out of conduit mitigate the issue a tad.

Will soak my mulchy layer later with spray bottles.  Thats all.

Peace.

;)
