Anyway I was just wondering whether to us rhizotonic in the tank as it will be constantly aerated. Will this make the pH rise? Should I leave it out? Opinions please... GSZZ Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 The air stones will make the pH rise if you're using them in the tank. You are better off using just a normal circulation pump, as long as the top of the water wobbles a bit there will be plenty of oxygen getting in, without any of the pesky pH rises. 10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
