Nutrient question

Hi everyone,

 

Is it normal for everything to drop out of the water and settle on the bottom of my reservoir like a sludge? It seems to be ok if I stir it but then if I go back to it an hour or so later, it's settled on the bottom again.

 

I'm using AN sensi coco bloom A+B, Calmag, AN bigbud. Canna PK 13/14

I think your problem is your using nutes for coco in an unsuitable system. I use advanced nutrients sensi grow/bloom in my dwc no issues.

are you sure its sludge though.

it might be crap off the hydroton, if you never rinsed it before using it.

I'm using the Alien Easy Feed system with a 120l tank. I have in the tank an aquarium heater and an aquarium pump so it's strange that it all drops out of the solution

Just to let you know the outcome. I replaced the paltry aquarium pump I had in the tank with a stronger one and it fixed the problem.

I use small pump in my tank and that helps a lot
