Why? They have a financial interest in you using it. I just checked and it contains potassium silicate, which is highly alkaline. If the pH of your soil goes too high you may see nute lockout and hence deficiencies. It has its unique problems, even in hydro/coco, and is best avoided in soil. In hydro/coco one can avoid problems with it by using it a particular way, which is not available in an organic setup. This is just my opinion but I don't think putting it in soil is a good idea, especially when it has ample silicates in it anyway. PS is strong stuff and can mess things up quickly. Soil is a substrate that you don't have much room to correct without screwing it up. Edited January 3, 2021 by catweazle1
Smokebelch
You only need the grow and bloom dude, the rest of it is a waste of money.
Smokebelch
Here you go, a few recent photos of my plants at various stages of flowering, look how healthy they are and my feed schedule is as simple as it gets. Plant Magic Compost with a bit of Mycorrhizal inoculant each pot up, fed only Intense Nutrients Organix Grow and Bloom. I used the same when I was on PM and Biobizz nutrients, the only extra thing I will use if the plants tell me they need it is a bit of Calmag. You guys would be better off spending the money on getting your environment dialled in than buying all those extra bottles, a heat mat under the pots would be a better investment. I ditched that PM Biosillicon yonks ago, it made no difference to my plants so I stopped buying it. The reason they recommend it is if you buy a bottle then they make a profit. I think Biobizz said you have to use fishmix in veg then change to grow in flower, you can use either for both but if you listen to them you just paid for two bottles instead of one and they made a nice profit. I used to feed my plants with all sorts, since I stopped putting all the extras in and lowered the amounts of Grow and Bloom I was bombarding them with my plants have gone from looking yellow and ropey allthe time to being the picture of health and vitality. Grow and Bloom Stunning looking girls, okay I’m going to stick to what I know then, thanks for helping me out and saving me money. A heat mat is a good idea, I have looked for one before but couldn’t find one anywhere. Edited January 4, 2021 by threewisemonkeys
