High EC/Media EC + controlled drybacks

Ive ran higher EC levels on this last grow, between 2.2 and 3.0 but only as using LED and also had co2 running. Watched a few bugbee videos where he says if you increase one factor.. I.e the light, anything over 1500mmols needs more of everything else but I do also read that when running higher temps with co2, one should drop the ec by 30% due to the plants higher transpiration rate (sort of contradicts the methodology) but as you've stated, if the medium is kept wet with run off, you wouldn't necessarily get a higher ec due to the medium becoming dry and leaving a Salt build up. EC of 5 though would probably give you issues. I wonder if a much higher ec would be beneficial in a medium less grow such as aeroponics?
