Count s 1st DINAFEM grow...fingers crossed.

First Dinafem grow,5th on my indoor career.The weed from my last grow is in the jars curing.Not so successful-again-, due to high temps during Summer,but smokable.I hope i won t make the same mistake and start a grow without a/c,while temp outside goes to 36-38 C.

My tent has been cleaned after a thripes attack,my extraction setup is re arranged and i m ready to rock n roll.

Dinafem has a vast catalog and i chose these fems:

1.Dinachem(seems strong for me,but tempting)

2.Strawberry Amnesia(clear sativa high?)

3.OG Kush CBD.(my first CBD strain).

 

 i m not a heavy smoker,i don t like super potent strains as i get anxiety,my heart get s at full speed (sativa) or brain malfunction and hangover(indica).

That s why i m interested in CBD/THC strains or trying to find local sativas with ultra clear head high,which i prefer, so i can be functional during the day.

Ive cracked 2 seeds from each strain,but bullshit started from the beginning,as i left the seeds for 3 days  and the result was this...i couldn t know which seed is what.

 

Two of them cracked,i put them in the 500ml cups i use as pots,butthey  haven t reach the surface yet,so i decided to crack 2 OG cbd more.

My setup is:

1,2x1,2  tent

6" prima clima

315w CMH for bloom

2x 256w(real) cheap disco leds for veg,that served me quite well so far for 3 grows.

Guanocalong complete mix substrate,

Biobizz Fish mix ,Bloom,top max.

Guanocalong Bat Guano,

Local fertilizers :

Leonardite humus,for trace elements,(0,1-0,1-0,1)

Amino acids,(4-0-0)

Sea weed powder(1-1-17)

Silica (Κ2O-12,5%- SiO-26%)

HESI enzymes,

Trichoderma,

TNC-mycor hydro,

Root powder  with  Indolylbutyric acid : 0,25 % .

 

In all my grows i was experimenting with feeding and i ve always F2cked up at the final stage of bloom,so this time i will stick with OT1 s biobizz chart,no more "let s see what that and this will do"  .

 

Now, the survivors so far...

Temp isn t ideal,but not so bad either.

Nice choice of strains 

 

I fancy trying that Strawberry Amnesia too at some point,

so i'll be following,

also curious what people make of these CBD strains.

 

I've only tried one and wasn't that keen on it,

but it wasn't a Dinafem strain,

one strain doesn't necessarily compare to all others.

 

Good luck with getting them happily to the end

the strawberries are already triple the size of the others,very vigorous grow.

As for the CBD strains,i m trying to find something that will "fit" me and i had to try these ,as potency isn t what i m looking for.

I have a problem connecting my phone to the pc,but i will manage to upload the pictures soon.

I think the 2 seeds that popped but never reach the surface were Dinachem,we ll see.

To be quite honest I'd skip the top max, used it on my first grow and didn't in the second I just used fishmix and bloom little bit of grow now and then. In my opinion the top max affected the taste and burn maybe I over done it but I'd never use it again.

 

Good luck on the grow mate I get the same anxiety with sativa strains I have to stick with indica doms to be honest can't stand a racey high

Interested in this one, im looking at some CBD heavy strains as like you I get crazy panic attacks of some types of weed. Ive not had a J in years and just vape, pipe and eat it as thats easier to control

I bought the triple bottles pack,so it was in it.From what i know is Leonardite humus with amino acids,so i' ll just feed from time to time.

As i said,no experiments-i hope- this time.When the plants are big enough in the 1,5l pot they are now,i'll stick with OT1 biobizz clone chart.

 

Well,i was never a fan of Indica s,but seems i have to search that way now.Mind that dosage plays a role too,  @JungleGeorge   .I ve smoked  a silly amount of Black Jack today,at work and i really enjoy it.

Well,it took me a while,but i always finish my diaries.As i said before,i work many hours,6/7,English isn t my mother language and takes me some time to write a post.

I feel very tired,i want to sleep a week .Plus,i ve quit smoking for now,as everything i smoke doesn t make me feel better,the opposite.Mty last chance are the CBD strains and tha ts where i ll look from now on.Maybe i ll look for a happy/mind relaxing Indica for one time.

Even a creamy hash from Holland,that gods of weed brought to me ,is making me a bit paranoid/nervous at the end.All my friends that have tried it seems to love it.

 

 Since my last post,the temp is steady at 24-27 c,i keep the wet-dry circle and the plants took off.

I ve transplant them from the 1,5l to 4,6l and i will bloom them into these,i don t have to much time to taking care of them.

I didn t train them,i ve only top the 2 Strawberries,early ,so i didn t kept any clones.

They are under one of my disco lights now(250w) and i have to add the other one and the CMH in the bloom.

The Strawberries are as the DINAFEM site describes,looks like they ll be big plants if i veg them more,but i wont.

One of the CBD s looks like a reg that s going to become male,not many branches,the others are doing well. 

I haven t added mychor yet,i will one of these days.I gave them a couple of foliar feed with the sea weed powder ,but i mostly feed em with Fish mix and some Bloom at the beginning,along with Epsom every week.

I think i over fed em a few times,but nothing that caused problems.

 

I have to pick up my misses from work ,so picture time.

...And just after one day,the roots have grown 3-4 cm!That s what s happening if you re a constant grower and i m not.

 

the 2 bigger are the Strawberries.

 

The biggest and well trained Strawberry.

 

I hope i won t make a month to update and i hope everything will clear at DINAFEM s headquarter and all their mother plants to be safe after their legal problems.

ok,let s write some comments about the grow so far.

 I said i will start using OT1 feeding program,but i didn t .I m using a mix i ve made 6 months ago.in  4l  can with:All mix,Fish mix,a 0-20-20 powder,Sea weed powder,Enzymes and i don t remember what else   .

I m mixing  RO and tap water at the moment,mostly RO as my tap water is hard, .5 CE.Epsom salts are used every time i see it s needed.

I ve started feeding  when i flipped to 12/12 and the plants explode.It s very low EC,smells awful but it does the job.

I m around 1 EC now,but they seem they want more,as the charge from the substrate must be long gone by now.I will start using fish mix and bloom in a while,so i ll know exactly what i m feeding.

 

The 2 Strawberries were topped,1 OG is bend to 90 degree(my favorite train),2 OG are not trained and the one that looks like wild weed is butchered and i keep it just to see what will happen.

All of them have stretch about 15cm .The OG has long branches and long internodes,while the Strawberies are more bushy with shorter internodes.

Temp has been steady to 21-28 C,while humidity is low around 30 mostly.

I m using all my lights-2x256w disco led and a 315w CMH for bloom.The 2 OG s that are taller seem to suffer a bit from the light ,but nothing that will damage them.

I didn t spread them too much but for 4,5l they look big to me,compared to the 7,5l pots i was using before,but i ve vegged them for about 1 1/2 month.

I hope to manage to fill these buds as they should be this time and that s why i have to stick to OT1 feed chart.

Hello guys,i hope you re all safe.

Everything is great in the tent.I keep doing my things on feeding ,mixing bio ferts and some plants have yellow leaves at the bottom,but i wasn t underfeeding(1,6 EC +- ),so i think is the temp that went down to 17 lights of.

A replace of the heater solved the problem(23 c-31 c),but i have to find the hotspot to keep it  28 +-    .

I ve noticed that the parts were the leds hit the plants ,have bigger buds and i m thinking to buy a 0.6m parabolic,so there will be place for the leds.

The 4.5l pots are small,it s like growing in coco.Buds are frosty,smelly and they get fatter every day.

Now ,it s the hard part for me....

well,everything was going great but today i found these.....

 

 

they need 2-4 weeks to finish.Strawberries and the tall OG CBD are mostly infected so far.

I won t right down anything about feeding,temp,humidity etc.I ve started a topic in the pest problem section and i will wait some days to see how the ll get.
