However I can now get hold of a Maxibright LightWave T5 Grow Light (2x 2ft tubes)Would this be better than upto 6 cfl bulbs?I'll be using a 60x60cm Hydro Shoot Tent 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SPITFIRE Posted August 5, 2020 Author Share Posted August 5, 2020 Just lots of reading, you can get them closer to the sides of the plant(s) I've also been looking at Phlizon 600W (actual wattage is 100W) not sure if that's any good. mixed reviews on amazon. Prophet Posted August 5, 2020 Share Posted August 5, 2020 Dont bother with CFL's. I've grown with CFL/LED/HPS. CFL's will give you lovely growth during veg but lack the power to form a decent volume of bud. A 60 x 60 tent is going to seriously limit your options though. Too close for LED, too hot for HPS (unless you have a decent fan). If you want to grow something half decent I'd seriously rethink your proposed setup and invest in some decent kit.
