How to Participate + Contest Rules


1. How to Participate:

1.1 - This contest is only for registered users from UK420 who have read and accepted the contest rules in the moment of the participation who are already participating in the 6th Sweet Seeds® Grow Diary Competition. The contestant also has to fulfil all the rules imposed by UK420 by the moment of the registration in the forum, which he/she accepted;

1.2 - Publish a post with a picture of a plant, several plants or a specific part of a plant from the Sweet Seeds® genetic collection in this precise thread, including a title for the picture. The title must include the name of the photographed strain(s);

1.3 - We will not accept pictures of plants that are not featured in the Sweet Seeds® 2019 or 2020 catalog;

1.4 - A picture is accepted as valid participation when published between the 10th and the last day of every month. When published in the last day of the month, the time limit is 23h59m (UTC time, London);

1.5 - Commercial mods, as well as forum users who have any kind of contractual professional relationship with Sweet Seeds® or any other seed company that advertises at UK420, can't participate in this contest. Non-commercial mods can participate;

 

1.6 - The photo has to be part of the grow diary shared for the 6th Sweet Seeds® Grow Diary Competition, that is, it must have been published in the diary participating in the contest.


2. Contest Rules:

2.1 - We give preference to pictures uploaded directly in UK420, in the personal gallery of the participant;

2.2 - Each contestant can participate with only 1 picture per month. If you publish more than 1 picture, we will only consider the first one as valid;

2.3 - The pictures have to be originals, authorship of the participant. Using pictures from other person, when detected, originates the permanent elimination from the contest automatically and without previous warning. Besides that a report will be sent to the forum administration so that they can decide if any additional measure should be taken;

2.4 - Sweet Seeds® reserves the right to use the winning pictures in marketing campaigns, articles for magazines, catalogs, Sweet Seeds® websites, publications in the Sweet Seeds® fan page at Facebook/Twitter/Instagram (always rigorously respecting the anonymity of the author), Twitter, etc. Even though, the authors of the pictures can keep using them to any other means as they keep their rights over the pictures;

 

2.5- This contest is divided into 3 threads with shared prizes. The other threads are in the ICMag, Enjoint and ForumSweetSeeds forums. This means that the best photo from the three forums wins 1st Prize, the 2nd best wins 2nd Prize, etc. So the winner of this edition may not be a UK420 member;

2.6 - The contest is ruled and administrated based on the most elemental fraternity and fair play principles. Any lack of respect, offence or attempt to discredit or defame the contest will leave the prevaricator out of the contest and at the mercy of administrative sanction.


3. Election of the Winners:

3.1 - Between the 1st and the 4th of the following month, the Sweet Seeds® jury (composed of a minimum of 4 members) will choose the winners through an internal vote. Each member of the jury will give 10 points to his/her favourite photo, 7 points to the 2nd favourite, 5 points to the 3rd, 3 points to the 4th and 2 points to the 5th. The points will be added to obtain the winners and the results will be published between the 5th and the 10th of that month;

3.2 - The contestant who wins the "Sweet Seeds® Photo of the Month" award can continue participating in this contest during the following months and eventually win more prizes.

 

3.3 - Each judge attributes the points according to their subjective evaluation of the photos published in the thread of this contest. In the evaluation of the photos the jury will be based on basic criteria such as: photographic quality, beauty of the photographed object, creativity, framing, focus, sharpness, originality, visual impact, etc.

 

3.6- The winners will be chosen from the participating forums: UK420, ICMag, Enjoint and ForumSweetSeeds. 

 

3.7 - Any winner with the main participation at ForumSweetSeeds, will have the points of the prize multiplied by x1.2 (example: for a 100 point prize, it turns into 120 points), as stated in the competition rules.

3.8 - Any grower sharing the diary simultaniously in this forum and at ForumSweetSeeds, must inform us that the main participation is at ForumSweetSeeds or else we will consider the main participation in the first forum where the diary was started.

3.9 - If a grower only inform about his main participation at ForumSweetSeeds after the points are attributed, the points are not multiplied and remain as they were before. Once the points are attributed, they can't be changed at any moment.

4. Shipping the Prizes:

4.1 - Sweet Seeds® is responsible to send the prizes according to the "Competition Rules" of the 6th Sweet Seeds® Grow Dairy Competition. Please read them again.
 

5. Validation of Participation:

5.1 - All the users of this forum that submit a picture to this contest automatically assume the full reading and full acceptance of this How to Participate + Contest Rules text and the "Competition Rules" of the 6th Sweet Seeds® Grow Diary Competition .

Got my wires crossed and flipped early hence the not full net but it's turned out to be a blessing with the lockdown.  I will be doing either blackjack or psicodelicia next but it's a tough choice @Sweet Seeds-tommy blackjack I know I had 1ounce of it maybe 2 years ago and it's been my gold standard ever since but psico sounds amazing I will get to a decision eventually .

@Asterion before reducing the image for the web the little trichomes with the blue on them is my kitchen window and myself mirrored on them. Crazy stuff in so close, cant breath or every thing shakes like and earth quake lol. Ps loving the tree.

It's come down my tree was on day 58 of 12/12 I think when I started the flush maybe 1% amber's about 5% when I chopped. I know most will frown at this but I know what I like i should probably grow sativas to be honest I'm a ridiculously active person and early harvest really agrees with that it's like floating around in a little happy bubble when iv got full jars. 

I will take some pictures when it's dry and give my best attempt on a smoke report. I did rip a tiny bud earlier and it smoked really well tasted a little like pineapple but could get the chlorophyll taste a little still effect was fantastic though do sweet dos is certainly sold on me.
