Iws flood and drain punch pot ?

Anybody using iws flood and drain with punch pots using coco/pebble mix ? 

 

Only ever used coco hand feeding thinking about switching to an automated system so any advice welcome 

 

tips, tricks, improved yields ?  

 

Reason is I'm having to leave me current grow for upto 4 days at a time due to work commitments and having to relay on a friend to help me water but he's also busy doing his own thing
