Hi can anyone tell me how low is too low a ph.

 

currenlty using lightmix and just started with intense nutrients organix.

the grow when added sends my ph to 4.5 which seems way too low. 

 

Im pretty sure a low ph is what f.cekd my biobizz grow up last time.

Yes I keep hearing this but from reading around and from my own experience it seems the soil can’t buffer up as much as it can buffer down.

another issue seems to be that feeding a low ph feed apparently kills the micro herd?

 

anyway I’m going with the 50/50 approach 

not willing to ruin a full grow again. We’ll know in a couple of weeks if the ph differences have any effect 

 

btw ph was definitely the issue last time out, had half a tent in coco other half in soil using biobizz. Nothing at all wrong with the coco lot but the biobizz lot just went bad and didn’t stop getting worse until I changed things.

 

regretting going down the compost route tbh, I’m putting just as much work into the feed as I do when growing in coco 

too late now though will just have to see how things turn out

 

plus we will find out from this grow whether the ph is an issue or not by using both feeds on the same strain 

 

so now I’ve got half my smile on 1ml grow 2ml foundation ph 4.5

other half on 1ml grow 2ml foundation 0.5ml bio silicon ph6.4
