Hi, Just need some smokes for xmas so chose these, so far so good.

large.DSCF0984c.JPG

Will be growing them in soil with biobuzz nutes in builders buckets under a 600w dual spec.

Any advice welcome as not done this for a while.

I got a 5+2 pack and all have come up, these are the first 6.

This one has three leaves, theres another with a conjoined twin.

The last j47xl is in the bottom left corner, the others are freebie seeds, not sure which is the dark devil, Ill be selecting them down to 9 plants when I repot.

Hi Apolo, nice of you to pop by, it's going ok. :D

Potting up was a bit late but went well with the rootballs holding together nicely.

Temperatures have been a bit difficult with a sudden cold snap but some adjustments to the intake and extract positions seem to have fixed that.

The only plant which seems to really be doing poorly is the three leaved one, I potted one of the spare seedlings in with it so I might cut it down if it doesn't improve over the next week or so.

That's it for now thanks for looking.

One week later,

large.DSCF0987b.JPG

Bit of a difference this week compared to last.

The three leaved plant had to go so now down to 6 J47xla, not bad at all for buying a pack of five.

There are 10 plants in total now, eight have female preflowers, the two that dont are the squat wider leaved ones one in the middle and one in the bottom right corner, I'm sure these are freebie seeds, the other one im sure is a freebie is the taller one in the middle bottom.

Temps still a little bit low, there is something I can do I just need a decent window of stealth time to rewire the fans.

The dustbin which has appeared is for water storage, so it's a reasonable temperature when I water them.

Thanks for looking and all the best.

Looking good!

Are you loading them up with Biobizz Root Juice and Alg-a-mic ?

With auto's its all in the start off and getting that root system rocking, the two items above really make a significant difference :)

Hi, thanks for looking in :D

I'd love to be loading them up with all of the boosters etc but sadly funds dont stretch that far, all I've got are grow, bloom and fishmix and theyre potted in cheap multipurpose compost. Hopefully next groe will be different.

So on with this week's update,

large.DSCF1002b.JPG

large.DSCF1003c.JPG

Everything seems to be going ok, I dare say it might be time for some of the grow nutes soon, all of the plants are showing female sex parts now so we're on track although the wide leafed plants are lagging and clearly going to finish later than the rest, I wish Id been able to run all Jack 47 xl's rather than this mix.

Thanks for looking, see you next week hopefully.

Hi buddy! :)

How many liters of water do you give to each plant? What capacity are the pots?

Sweet smokes!

Hi Apolo,

They get about 4-5 litres of water, the pots are 15L with 12L of soil.

Thanks for looking in :D

So, this weeks update, things are moving on...

large.DSCF1002b.JPGlarge.DSCF1003b.JPG

Overall I think its ok not exactly prefect by any means, temps are still a bit low in places but the plants are clearly growing, not given any feed yet.

large.DSCF1004b.JPG

I don't know if this is the Dark Devil or not, it's not one of the J47's

This J47 is not doing too well, I overwatered it and it's sat next to the extraction filter so probably a bit cold compared to the others, I've moved it now, hopefully the one in it's place will fare better.

The top of the plant.

Like I say overall I'm pretty happy with how it's going, some of the plants have slightly dodgy leaves but nothing to panic about, plants are developing well really and seem to be remaining green so I've not worried about feeding them yet.

Thanks for looking, see you next week hopefully.

This weeks update then.

The plants have been growing still, the sick looking one looks better. Some of the plants have dodgy leaves which I'm becoming a bit worried about. I've still not fed them anything yet.

large.DSCF1004b.JPGlarge.DSCF1005b.JPG

The really dodgy one on the bottom right is the overwatered plant from last week, it looks like it's made some improvement to me.

large.DSCF1006b.JPG

Any ideas on the leaf problem? These leaves are on the plant in the centre of the room, I've ordered some epsom salts...

I ran out of batteries so that's all this week's pictures.

See you all next week hopefully :D

Hi buddy!

It is very likely that the problem is calcium deficiency. It may be other deficiencies too.

What fertilizers are you using?

Sweet smokes!

Hi Apolo,

Thanks for dropping in.

I think you're right, I had not given them any feed until this morning.

Now I've given them 1ml Fishmix, 1ml Grow, 2ml Bloom and 3g Epsom salts per litre of water.

I'll know to start them on some feed earlier in the future.

Hope it does the trick.

Atb, Incey

I'm actually quite happy with how theyre doing considering my cluelessness, but still kinda looking forwards to starting another lot and hopefully doing better.
