Dinafem-Mark
Gorilla's mind-blowing potency and extraordinary resin yield have earned her a well-deserved place among Dinafem Seeds' favourites in just one year. The greatest trait of this Indica-dominant THC-packed strain is the thick blanket of white trichomes covering her flowers in the closing days of flowering. Is there anything we could add to such a fantastic strain? Speed. But without affecting her true nature as a feminised plant. She's as capable of producing large amounts of flowers and resin as her predecessor. She just does it much more quickly. This is exactly what Quick Gorilla offers: harvests that could be mistaken for those of a Gorilla but in less than 56 days. Morphology Quick Gorilla is an Indica-leaning hybrid whose fast flowering doesn’t make her any smaller. She’s a rather sizeable and bush-looking plant with ample internodes that allow for adequate aeration and prevent the appearance of humidity issues. Her colouring remains virtually unaltered: lime-green leaves that seem almost sugar-frosted at the end of the flowering period. Yield Quick Gorilla shortens the flowering, yet this affects neither the quantity nor the quality of the final product. Another important feature of this outstanding hybrid is, as is the case with Gorilla, her ability to produce an awful lot of resin. Her nuggets are, therefore, extraordinarily gooey. And are, by the way, pretty Indica-like: super-thick, heavy, ball-shaped, and dusted with shiny trichomes. Aromas and flavours Quick Gorilla’s aroma is predominantly gassy, with earthy undernotes and some sour hints, exactly like the one found in Gorilla. Effects Her effect is anything but quick-acting. Get ready for a long-lasting feeling of relaxation. Her incredibly low CBD levels allow THC to show its full potential, meaning Quick Gorilla will anchor your body in deep relaxation for hours. Not the kind of effect those who prefer a gentle high are looking for. Cultivation Her rapid growth is her most valuable asset. The 58-63-day flowering of Gorilla has been reduced by a week or even 10 days. Quick Gorilla’s flowering wraps up in just 51-56 days, which makes her particularly suitable for growing outdoors in regions where unexpected rainfalls could take place some days before harvest. Indoor growers will also benefit from her in many ways for multiple harvests can be achieved in the same space, with the same lighting fixture and in the same length of time. Geoff
I`ve grown 3 Quick Gorilla plants. All of them germinated quickly and were strong and vigorous. An easy plant to grow. They stretch a little, but just enough to give good spacing between bud sites. I harvested the first at 50 days flowering. Cured for two months. It was the best weed of the summer. A lovely euphoric buzz kicks in a few minutes after vaping. Makes you acknowledge and notice it everytime. "That´s fucking good weed" accompanied by a nod of approval in the direction of the vaporiser. This year I grew two more. 28 days veg. Double topped for four colas plus side shoots. I let them flower for 56 days. Unfortunately I haven´t had the luxury of a long cure and have vaped them after a couple of weeks curing. Same great euphoric buzz on both. Again it´s the best weed I currently have jarred up. This is Quick Gorilla. The screen is used to spread the colas for better light penetration. The plant to the right is Dinafem´s Gorilla. Her buds are a litlle rounder. 3 days germ + 28 days veg + 56 days flowering = 87 days from the seed getting wet to harvest and it could be shorter as I have harvested at 50 days and it was good. If I was planting outdoor I´d pick Quick Gorilla just for the timescale and knowing it´s good weed if you do have to chop early. Great plant, easy to grow, good buzz. If I was going to grow Dinafem again I have to pick this one.
