delagdo
Fantastic job on the harvest. It sounds like they both have a potent smell, I hope they have a matching effect. Good luck with the clones, I hope they go well this summer. I love the pictures, your POTM entry is brilliant and creative. Punta Roja
Okay.... Back with the reports... It's been almost four weeks since the chop. A nice tune to accompany the read... First off the BlackJack Auto: Length of grow: 96 days. Perfume: Positively lemon bathroom cleaner. Strong terpene overtone...Piney. Taste: On the dry draw via spliff the zestyness of the lemon tickles the tip of the tongue. The smoke is lemony on the inhale but it's a bit more complicated on the exhale...less lemony more piney and earthy. High: I rolled a spliff and took the dog out down by the river. After smoking about a third of the spliff. I felt it creeping up on me. Got a bit of headband. It isn't power but I knew I'd had a smoke, I'd say for one spliff it got me there. But I do have a high tolerance. Nice uplifting high energy buzz Yield: About 30g. Grow again? As I'm in my 55th year and I don't know how many more grows I've got left in me...no. There's more SS stuff I'd rather do for now. Recommend? Yes. High points. Getting it to sprout after the seed had been lost behind some drawers for five years. Getting it into the jar. No nanas. The first spliff. Low points. The small amount of growth and...Sin semilla.. Summary For it to sprout after five years surprised me. It didn't get very big, no where near the size of my outdoor specimens. That may have been down to the 12/12 it was under for the last four weeks although it wasn't very big before I flipped. I think autos are a bit temperamental, it doesn't take much for them to go off on one. Low temps didn't help. I didn't water it enough in the last couple of weeks. Some of my favourite photographs. Punta Roja
Now for the Green poison F1 Fast version: Length of grow: Veg mode: 56 days Flower mode: 70 days Total: 18 weeks. Perfume: A blend of pine/orange/lime...and other scents that I can't put my finger on. Sweet smelling. Fills the room with a nice incensey smell if the jar is left open. Taste: On the dry draw via spliff the sweetness and fruityness are the overriding noticeable tastes. The smoke tastes fruity and sweet on the inhale, more incensey on the exhale. High: Wake and bake this morning, out with the dog at 05:30 with a fat one. First felt in the gums then higher into the head...more of an typical Indica this one. I walked less today, got home and crashed on the sofa for a nice relaxing and quiet couple of hours. This one is one of the ''stoned postponed'' highs. Yield: About 65g. Grow again? I already am...I've got four clones going, but as before, there's so much more SS stuff to grow that I doubt it. Recommend? Yes. High points. Successfully repairing the split stem. First place POTM. Getting it into the jar. No nanas. The first spliff. Low points. The small amount of growth. Splitting the stem. Summary I should have given it a couple more weeks veg, there would have been a big difference in size and yield. The mainlining might have looked looked impressive but in future, unless I can give it a long veg I'll stick to topping once or twice and training. Late with the start of feeding which has had a bearing on size. Low temps didn't help. Some of my favourite photographs.
