hi, what is a plant called that has come from a feminised mother and a hermie flower on the same plant? Or a feminised mum and pollen from same variety different plant hermie?  Muddie

depends if you've actually feminised it yourself or if it hermied on its own? 

 

generally if its hermied on its own the offspring will also hermie

The above, Qs 1,  require a stress curve in a stable fem, or gibberelic acid apps.......... to get a staminate reaction....

 

However, if it is a usually stable fem, that has thrown staminate, and that has been stressed, (Heat, Water Drought, Light leaks light out, high nitrogen 2wks into 12/12), just a few that can bring out a herm.

 

Then the pollen from the very few staminate male organs, is very very weak, with low viability. The resulting pollen is of very low potency, even if blown around the grow room by a air cuirc fan. Very few phistills will take up the very weak pollen............. usually only a few lower bows will be affected.  Un-viable seeds are usually produced. But there will be a few seeds in the odd bud or two, which will be viable  = (Line Breeding).......... but the smell of a burning bean, in a bud, can ruin a reputation of a grower !! only kidding.......

 

The crop will only be affected to a very low %............
