Stonedjones
Thanks to @J Trich for the seeds , freebies and the opportunity . well here goes and welcome to my 1st grow diary, my 1st coco grow and my 1st competition I hope you find it enjoyable to read as I do growing them 1st of all i germinated them on the 9th June using the method I have always used which is simply popping them into root riots and putting them into a heated propagator. i planted all 9 seeds in the hope to find 1 maybe 2 decent lookers of each strain. 3 days later I had activity as you can see all 3 jack Herer popped there is 1 no show of each candy cream and Cali orange. all cosy in there new home just need to bring rh up a bit more. not much more to report as yet so I’ll update when/if the others make an appearance and when I let them root out for a couple of days and pot them up into 1l pots. until next time
Stonedjones
A little more info on my plans to grow them any input would be much appreciated. 1st the chosen medium i have heard mixed opinions on using block form but I’ve already bought it now so I’ll let you know if it’s any good the lighting They will be started under a t5 panel of 4x55w until established the bulb is a 942 I was hoping to go for another set up with a 930 aswell but I’ve seen what yield you can get with just 1 which was impressive, my footprint is 1.2 x 1.2 is 1 enough or do I need 2? the food no expense spared eh hope it’s worth it

Stonedjones
Another update, Well 2 of the seeds never made it which leaves 1 candy crush and 1 California orange short so 7 out of 9 seeds germinated successfully and they have now gone into coco and they have responded well, I’ve also given them a little root tonic @1ml/ltr as there will still be some feed left in the root riot cubes. why did nobody tell me that stuff stinks it brought tears to my eyes the u grow coco block mixed easy enough and seems to be ok time will tell though. 2 of the candy crush all 3 of the jack Herer california orange this california orange had stopped growing so I carefully pulled open the root riot cube and the tap root was stuck in the seed shell, Ive freed the tap root and carefully planted it in the coco so I’ll see if I can bring it back to life group shot group shot from above until next time

Stonedjones
Another week another update I've started to feed them first feed a+b and root tonic at full strength according to bottle instructions e.c 1.0 not sure on background as doesn't show up on stick I'm in a soft water area They are 10 days old from popping. I'm not familiar with coco and they seem a little underfed to me I'm watering until runoff but pretty much as soon as I start watering it's coming out the bottom am I feeding them right? All 3 jack herer Candy cream only 2 made it And only 1 california orange made it Group shot 6 plants in total. Until next time Edited June 24, 2018 by Stonedjones

Stonedjones
Here's another weekly update, Plants are doing well still under a t5 panel and will be going into the bigger tent this week after my quarterly house inspection which is tomorrow or I would of put them in sooner but the small tent is easier to take down. They are staying small and compact in this tent so are easier to hide and my temps have been stable as no big lights so that's been a God send. I potted them up yesterday ready for the big tent and my 1st run with the cmh can't wait They have been fed with full strength root tonic and 1st feed up until potting up and then yesterday started them on grow. 2ml/l grow 3ml/l universal traces 5ml/l root tonic. Pots didn't quite root out fully but good enough Here's the jack herer plants and roots The candy cream and roots And the california orange and roots Group shots I'll update again when in big tent and I'll top them aswell Until next time

Stonedjones
So it’s been almost 2weeks since my last update sorry guys I’ve not been well and the mrs had to take over some feeding ( She’s a good un). since my last update they have been topped but no lst as yet with not being well. i have potted up into my final pots which are 9 litre air pots and they have gone into the big tent under the cmh and into baseline trays. they have been fed on 3ml/l grow a+b 2ml/l universal traces 5ml/l root tonic with an e.c 1.2 i am still hand feeding at the moment as I only potted up yesterday but I have the run to waste set up and I’ll probably set up the res and drippers over the weekend. the roots have sped up with the root tonic and being in coco These are the jack Herer roots and plants as of yesterday and here are the California orange roots and plant for some reason I only have photos for 1 candy cream plant but there is 2 of this strain so here they are and as as always here are the group shots in there new homes heres hoping they they really lift off now until next time (hopefully a lot sooner ) enjoy
