making holes in things

i got myself a stanley fatmax hole drill thingy ,buger dont fit my shitty black and decker drill, can i make the chuck bigger somehow or do i need a better drill?

You must have a bloody small chuck on that drill mate, is it definitely open as far as it will go? if so you need a bigger drill

i found some lovelly dwc containers at homebase, perfect they are, the lip is on the inside of the box kinda so its good for water tightness. https://www.homebase.co.uk/32-litre-heavy-duty-storage-box_p374117

good strong lid on it as well.

right, yeah you need a drill, I was thinking you might be able to hammer something through perhaps lol can you not put a smaller drill in the chuck and wiggle it a bit to make the hole a mm bigger?

might be onto something man, if i get the right size drill bit and claamp it in the vice then holding the drill very carefully, make it drill itself a bigger hole.

you can get normal chuck adapters(hexagonal ones) though mate, you just connect them the same as in that pic....
