Green demon
So the first two vials were destroyed, and despite my best intentions in trying to retrieve them intact, I ended up picking the seeds out of broken glass. This time I used a scientific method of extraction and the results speak for themselves. No shattered glass Heat knife until it's hot. Insert blade into the glob of glue sealing the end Watch glue melt and pluck out With the blade push the vial out of the unblocked hole Hey presto!
ANTHONY13
or just stick a nail between the vials and the wood where you see a little gap and push the vial out?:)
HSO-Mark
I've never felt had an issue removing the seed vial from the wooden packaging but I can see where some would encounter issues Personally I used a pair of surgical scissors and gently pry the glue away which then pulls the seed vial out Let me know if anyone has any issues Thanks for adding this @Green demon Kind regards HSO-Mark..
Green demon
@ANTHONY13 I tried that mate the vials wouldn't budge and the glue held them firmly in place, even after I had done what @HSO-Mark recommends. I used a sharp knife and a tiny screwdriver to try and remove most of the glue then pushed the vial and it broke. The hot knife worked a treat

Badbadger
Use a lighter to soften it first then pluck it out like a bad spot! It does seal them up nice but as with alot of packages like this the fact it's not labelled on the actual tube makes me nervous If they get mixed up so I write it on a bit of paper and pop that inside with the beans and write it on the glass to be certain. Captain Bonglington
I struggled to open my Blueberry Headbands the other day, I tried to cut the glue out with a Stanley knife, and pull it out with pliers....It didn't go well, I ended up smashing the vial and shaking my seeds out into a tub along with some shards of glass. Nice looking packaging though!
