Anyone getting one?

 

Got one on pre order and can't fecking wait, my all time favourite console with some of it's best games.

I got one preordered direct from Nintendo UK.

I did it as soon as they sent the heads up email.

A birthday present to myself.....

I use a raspberry pi3 with wireless game pads. It's bloody awesome, I've got wired SNES style pads which are a bit cheap and shit by an xboxone pad is fully plug and play. 

 

I've got ROMs for every SNES, NES and SEGA game, it'll play N64 and PS1 games as well. 

 

The downside is it's a bit buggy sometimes but what can you expect for ~£30?

I tried to preorder from 4 different places and failed miserably.

 

My girlfriend doesn't understand why I'm so fucking angry about this :(

You will be lucky mate, pre-orders have sold out and they are planning to stop making it at the ed of `17 :(

I don't understand why Nintendo don't actually make more of these , they sell out every time

 

Yeah you can play all the games on an emulator but it's the look of the thing and the nostalgia factor that is the real appeal
