mantaraver
Hi everyone. I'm planing to start a grow soon in a dissused mushroom house. I have a cabinet made up which is roughly 32 cu ft running a 400watt hps with venting via a 6 inch axial fan, with a smaller veg chamber alongside. The whole cabinet will be set into the back of a van for extra stealth. My problem is that the humidity in the mushroom house is between 90 to 100%. Does anybody think that this will be a problem as i'll be drawing this air to my growroom passivly. Any advice would be mighty apprieciated. boevis
Oof yeah I´d say youĺl have terrible trouble with mould. Need to dehumidify a lot or pipe drier air in from somewhere?
mantaraver
What if I were to run a dehumidifier inside the van while venting the spent air outside it. Would this make a differance ?

mantaraver
Thanks for the welcome forma. Gonna do a dry run for a while and monitor humidity levels to see what happens. This'll be my fifth grow now, but the first 'away from home' as such, so I wont be able to check it all the time. Dont want any nasty suprises. Boojum
This is probably a dumb idea, given the amount of water to clear from the air, so to speak, but would leaving some big sacks full of silica gel in there make any difference ?
