ok!

"God didn`t create us, but we created God"

something I`ve always believed tbh, but that`s just my belief

it depends what we mean by god ......a general "god" is one thing and has a slim possiblilty of existing

the god of the bible /koran etc and all there offshoots are clearly made up by men .....as clear as spiderman superman being invented

although i agree with what you say ratdog there is a clear disticntion from the concept of a god as opposed to the nonsense claimed today

I think the article you posted in reply was about a New York Times article

The OP posted a Telegraph article about the same thing I think it's a book

It all seems related to brain chemistry to me , if you believe in God whatever is presented to you will be used to show that your belief in God is correct

I think most people have had experiences which could be interpreted in different ways , spiritual , religious or simply the result of chemicals in the brain

yeah im sure your right

but the real interesting bit is which one is it ?

at bare bones everything we see and hear is created by the brain ....and what information it doesnt get through light etc it simply makes up

blinking for example .....you never notice the "black" when you blink your brain fills it in for you
