I had 2 very distinct phenotypes from the 5 pack i grew out. All 5 germinated with 3 being very lanky compared to the other 2 which were more stocky. The hazy tally pheno was very lemon like once done the other chunkier pheno along the lines of a bubblegum smell. If memory serves the average veild was around 45g/plant, 5 plants that were grown whilst I vegged Dinafems cheese, so by the time I had the cheese at a nice size usually I veg for 8 weeks these were very close to being done when I flipped to 12,s. These went 70 days.

@@Dinafem-Mark Thanks for that.

Having looked at your advice and read up on the site, I'm interested in maybe running the OG Kush next to the Blue Cheese. Do you think this is a sensible decision? Nothing is set in stone other than the Blue Cheese atm so please feel free to advise me otherwise if you think they might not be well suited.

Thanks mate, much appreciated. :)

That would make a great pairing and should be finished around the same time 60ish days. From what I have been tolds by friends in Spain the OGKush is doing very, very well and demanding a very high price in the Social clubs. I should have some fresh stock before you start so I hope to be able to help you out

Welcome Dinafem mark! For the last month Iv been posting to find info/grow diaries about your blue cheese photoperiod here on uk420 , couldn't really get much info and the only posts I could find on breeders help desks for Dinafem were from a while back so I can say it's good to have you here :) due to lack of info and grow diaries of this strain I decided to do a diary myself to show and help others wanting info, so take a look when get chance :) I'm currently 5weeks into veg and ready to flip to 12/12. Impressed so far nice strong healthy plants :) I know the general info of the strain stretching during flower etc but I was wondering if you or anyone else you have witnessed have grown the blue cheese?

Hope to hear back from you :)

A good friend in Canada has just finished his first run of blue cheese and was very pleased:). The stretch in flower wad 1.5x by that I mean he flipped @50cm and the end plants stopped the stretch and finishing height was 125-135cm. Ill try to dig some more info out for you but with newish strains we do rely on growers such as yourself.

I will definitely check out your thread it will be interesting for sure and will give me more info for future growers;)

Thank you all the best with the BC

What wad the smell like on yours?, you looked to have the fat, chunky phenotype! I liked this pheno but preferred the hazey dominant pheno. The quality was very good for a automatic strain I've checked my notes from that grow and I had to flower the sativa pheno for 80 days the chunkier pheno 65.

Very nice plants you've grown

it's abit lemony with another fruit I can't put my finger on. It's definitely a competitor to a photo taste wise. I still have it curing for the last 3 weeks. It looked done around 70 days I took it to 84 tho as I had other strains on too. Not very hazey at all. Probly one of the best autos out there wiv potentcy and taste, which is y I'm now doin the xxl. I jus killed my amnesia seed yday tho. I germinated it. Put it in coco, under the the light, 48hours and still no head, so I took it out the tent left it in the dark room 2 days and it came up, I saw was I thought was a piece of string on the pot which I just pulled up, turned out to b amnesias lil white stem :(lol gonna have to pop another. Let me know when u get some seeds mate I guess I need sum more. I'll document my auto xxls as time goes on

@@Dinafem-Mark can I ask your opinion of the Blue Widow femmed strain from Dinafem.

I had a read of the site and it really stood out as a strain that sounds right up my street, so wanted to see if you (or anyone else reading this for that matter) had any opinions or experience with it.

Thanks in advance. :)

@@baked bean did the blueberry flavour come through much? On the website it mentions a chewing gum type taste and I've also read that there is some lemony taste.

I know this is a very specific question, but have you ever smoked bubblegum, and if so how does the Blue Widow compare?

Thanks a lot :)

Of course you can :). I've grown the blue widow only once and was very impressed with the overall performance. The yeild was very good I did 2 plants in scrogg vegged for 8 weeks and flowered for 8.5 weeks with a end yeild of 14oz of very dense bud with 2 phenotypes. I had a very blueberry dominant pheno that stayed slightly shorter @145cm/after stretch and a bubblegum tasting pheno that had a hint of citrus possibly lime or lemon, my best description was tropical bubblegum this pheno finished @155cm/after stretch.

A very good strain very photogenic with the blue hues she puts out even under standard temps.

All the best

Mark
