Nasher90
Just wondering do you get more yield growing from cuttings or is it the same as growing Straight from seeds Link to comment
judgey
i think cuttings are a clone of the plant you took them from... i would think it would be easer to use a cutting than a seed but i could be wrong Link to comment
indicatoker420
If I were aiming for the biggest yield I could get then I'd choose a bunch of cuttings rather than seeds because you can get the canopy more even. With seeds even of the same strain they will most likely show different phenotypes so the canopy is most likely not gonna be as even as a bunch of cuts. I normally get 5-6oz under a 250w always from 3 plants from seed but I know for fact if I had a mother and grew the same phenotype I would get more but I can't do grows continuously so no mothers unfortunately. yogi bear
I find I do not get an even canopy from clones anyway. I usually supercrop my plants to get an even canopy regardless. Good thing about clones is that if you have picked the best plant from a bag of seeds then your likely to yield better as all those plants will have good genetics. Planting the same amount of seeds can be hit or miss as to whether you get good genetics or not 1 Link to comment
Road_Runner
It all depends on what seeds vs what cuttings but if you want consistent high yield then you should select a high yielding mum to take cuttings from. That way you will get high yielding plants. RR Link to comment
