Wiggiz
I've just been given a cutting (not sure what it is but it's some sort of cheese) which hasn't been rooted. This wouldn't normally be a problem but it's actually in flower. I know plants can be re-vegged but when they have a root system. I would like to keep it if possible, just to get the numbers up. I've stuck it in with my other 2 plants in my veggie cupboard on 18/6. Humidity is hovering around 48 - 50% but I'm not sure whether to raise it for the cutting or not. Is there any chance it will survive and, if so, how can I increase it's chances? I'm rather confused as to why I'm being forced into growing again before I'm ready, first off I got 2 sprouted fems and now this cutting, so I'm thinking the Canna Goddess has decided that I've been dragging my feet for far too long Link to comment
Tony Montana
Just treat it as you would any other cutting Link to comment
Tony Montana
It will probably kick out a few mutant leafs when it revegs but it will return to normal veg after a little while Link to comment
Wiggiz
One more question, would it help if I cut the flowers off or will it just stop trying to produce them now it's on 18/6? Link to comment
Owderb
Get it on 24hrs for a couple of weeks then go 18/6 and just leave it alone Owd Edited February 9, 2014 by Owderb Link to comment
Tony Montana
How bigs the cutting? I'd get your light on 24/0 Link to comment
Wiggiz
It's about 2 1/4 inches high and there are 2 sets of leaves on it and 2 small side branches. I shall go and adjust the timer forthwith Link to comment
