Mainly as I was such a big fan of love/hate. Only two episodes in so far but seems like it might be alright. Just watched both seasons back to back (available on BBC iplayer). I thought it was very entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable but perhaps a little bit formulaic. The Kinsellas reminded me of a sort of Gaelic Sopranos. This TV show definitely needs to be better known. 7.5/10 Edited May 9 by Bram Toker

CannaKay Posted Monday at 23:36 Share Posted Monday at 23:36 I rarely watch tv series or tv at all , the last 2 series i watched were the walking dead and vikings wich is a few year ago. Last week i sat down in front of the tv because i was too stoned to get upstairs for a pish and thought id take a wee break first , shitflix was on and i just pressed on the first thing on the screen wich turned out to be the serie "the gentlemen" . Anyone on here who hasnt seen it yet is in for a treat as this is an 8 part new serie made after the 2020 film "the gentlemen" , Weed is the main story line and its (imho) so good that i binge watched the lot in one day. If they foolishly decide to not make the second series i will stalk them till the end of time !
Boojum Posted Tuesday at 11:53 Author Share Posted Tuesday at 11:53 Got a month of Disney+ just for Shogun now all the season 1 episodes are available (I know you can get everything free but I don't mind paying for a month on a subscription service for something worth watching, which Shogun certainly is ). Thought it was excellent. Now watching season 2 of Reservation Dogs (watched season 1 when I got a month free trial ages ago), as good as I remember the first season being. Gave Renegade Nell a go, thought Louisa Harland (who was my favourite in Derry Girls) was excellent but couldn't get into the show itself, all a bit overcontrived for my taste, like it was written by committee from a checklist (like a lot of stuff nowadays).
