What about the Spanish way members only, buzz you in doors, even served alcohol in some and still chilled place. Us brits just a bit uncontrolled!

But with the members only and buzz door shizz it makes it much easier to control whats going on imo, no under age etc, cant really tell its a club outside so happy neighbours, carbon filter extraction systems to keep the place clean and again neighbours happy.

Much less in your face than dam or US seems to be but so accessible and cheap at same time, genius!

There was a coffee shop open in Stockport about 10 years ago called the Dutch experience, openly selling weed and guess what.......it was full of chavs as Stockport is before it got shut down and the owner arrested. Hold my hat off to him for having the balls to try it.

@@elbarto 666 What bollocks, I used to use that coffee shop and it's patrons were just ordinary people and Stockport ain't full of Chav's, but you are a Dick !

I may be making this up or getting the facts wrong cos being mostly drunk really fucks your memory lol I I'm sure I recall one coffee shop in the UK that didn't sell pot, but allowed people to smoke there. That's weird, why would to go and risk getting nicked smoking post you'd already bought when you can just stay at home. The whole point of coffee shops is they are somewhere to buy pot, surely.

in my case the one i go to and i had a pleasure of meeting another member from here there.is just a place where you get tigether to watch footy.play cards chest talk or just be. Obvious if you just turn up its just a normal cafe. The meeting i had there with another uk member was cool as. We both know the place and we both had the attitude seed bank t shirts so was like i know him for ages when he turn up

Surely you would have the high end and the dives if it was like Amsterdam.

We have had the Beggar's Belief, Bongchuffa, Quantum leaf, The Dutch experience, and the Dutch experience two, plus others.... All done a few years ago and nothing recent due to the harshness of the law that prevents it. Personally, I am not convinced they are even viable, even pubs are struggling to maintain the social scene it once had, and that is mainly down to technology and home entertainment. Social clubs or a Cannabonist I feel would be much more viable than coffee houses.

I went to a cannabis coffeeshop in Bournemouth at least 10 years ago, Jimmy I think was the guy who ran it? Seemed nice enough, when we went we turned up on motorbikes and were the youngest by at least 10 years, so I spose we were the young chavs everyone's worried about! lol

I wonder what happened to that lot? They moved I think but I hope they are still going.

A friend invited me to a shisha lounge in Birmingham, everyone in that place was burning bud in the shisha, the owner was cool with it and sharing shisha and bud with customers, very chilled environment with soft cushons scattered everywere pretty much like a dutch coffee shop, could even snack on freshly cooked samosas and pekoras when you got the munchies.

they tried that in Edinburgh but it was shut down on the first day. if there were legal coffee shops or dispensaries here in the uk I wouldn't buy from them. I would still be self sufficient growing my own but I could see my self using the coffee shops for socialising, it would be great to head down the street to the local weed spot for a smoke and a natter with other stoners on a Saturday afternoon.

e2a I would probably buy import hash from the coffee shops

Social clubs or a Cannabonist I feel would be much more viable than coffee houses.

its the same thing at the end of the day, just packaged up slightly differently, a place to buy weed and socialise with other stoners

In theory in Spain they should not sell import hash as that is classed as trafficking.

Spain is heavy on socialise part activities etc for members, tasting evenings.

I see one as having no on sight facilities for use. The other I see more as a place where it provides the facilities and allows others to bring there own.

Slightly different yeah, but distinct enough I feel.

It was a pleasure to attend the joint Christmas party of the Liverpool and Manchester CSC's, 80+ people, great food and a cracking venue,
