How close with the T5?

I've just got my mother tent all set up with a 4' 2 bulb T5. How close to you have you're lights to your mothers? The plants I currently have are from seed and are only a week and a half old so not very big. But I was looking for an aproxamit distance.

test with back of hand, if its too hot 4 u its too hot for them.

I have mine near touching, like vostok says check & adjust daily.

Cool thanks everyone! Yea i thought I could get them pretty damn close but I just wanted to have an ask around before lowering the light on em.

Yeah, the T5's won't burn anything unless they're literally touching the bulbs, mine are usually 40-50mm above the canopy, just make sure you check them daily because they will grow fast and your lights will need regular adjustments.
