Thanks guys, just had a look at this. I've never done any sexing. But attitude will give me 5 for £51.99 feminized that is, how can we stop them going hermi.

Thanks guys. G

I would look at a different breeder for this strain personally - even if they dont hermie as the smoke wasnt good either - sexing plants is not hard just dont pot them up past 1 or 1.5 litre pots until sexed and after about 6 - 8 weeks you should see tiny hairs or small balls on the plants and then potup the girls and kill off the boys unless you want to do a seed run.

Regs were the same here, piss poor smoke and no taste, but no hermie.

Can't believe I haven't given up on them - must be mad :russian:

I recently grew a femmed Blueberry and was so disappointed with it that I took no more cuts and stopped growing her. She grew no problem at all, maybe a little fussy with her feeds but had no rich berry taste that I had smoked before and not much of a stone for me. I put it down to it simply being because I only cracked 1 seed and maybe the next would be all I hoped for.

I would deffo grow her again but she has moved down the list a little.

Bogsy.

Well I guess I'm the lucky one then.

I gave this strain more than ample reason to grow a moustache, temps over 100f, lows to 51f

too small pots, Hu never got over 18%, PH wandering, and on and on...

*see gallery*

grew like a freekin dream!

I'd do a full grow report if I could figure out the insert image/voodoo/stuff.

Grow was in a cheap wardrobe from Ikia which I cheapened further by cutting
vent holes in the bottom back of the cab.

19" deep, 31" wide, 36" useable height.

Watts per square foot, which is room length x width divided into total watts.

I.e. 5'x5'=25sqf with 1000w light is 25 into 1000=40w per square foot.

*arughh! math, um, approx *cough*w per square foot.

Amount of light used in watts and brand ie;Hortilux , Sunmaster etc.:

Veg [x] Bloom [x] MH __x__ watts 250w generic.

Check off reflective material used: foil [ ] paint [x] mylar [ ] none [ ] or other [x]
If you checked off other please explain:

*I painted the raised floor white and hung mylar/panda film on the walls.
cheap tin reflector/hood.

cabfloor

cabspace

cabtop

Ventilation:

*power intake from window to the bottom of the cab. Power Outtake to carbon bucket.

Growing method:

Soiless-ish

Growing style:

Screen of Green (scrog) *Kinda, Sorta, not really...

Ferts and medium used:

20l HP Promix
2 cups top soil
1 tablespoon Pyroclay3
4 tablespoons dolomite lime
1 teaspoon epsom salts

*Mix well, no, I said mix WELL! in large green garbage bag, mist lightly,
seal bag for a week plus.
Fill grow pot and water till RUNNING from the bottom.
Allow to dry out COMPLETLY.

*Ok, well maybe thats all just me..

Veg.
Distilled water, Liquid rock, epsom salts, PlantProd 18-9-15 ppm 800 ph 6.6-6.7

Bloom
Distilled water, Liquid rock, epsom salts, PlantProd 10-52-10, BigBud, ppm 1200 ph 6.5-6.5

Additives:

Just happy thoughts..

Strain name: Dutch Passion Blueberry femed
Indica [80] Sativa [20]

I grew from Seed [x] clone [ ]

Veg for [5] weeks *till asymetrical growth, ie mature

Bloom for [7+] weeks *60% amber

Blueberry 6 weeks

Observations:

Grown under, well, pretty crappy conditions temp and Hu wise.
Hu never broke 18% and temps ranged from 51f to 100f+.

Pots were too small and it overgrew the cab in no time.

At one point it looked like it had every fert problem in the book.
Cause? cold root ball. (that was the 51f week).

Budset was quick and profuse. A little stretchy even under a MH.

No detectable smell till week 5. Bubblegummy.
Tart, berryish smell week 6.

Surprising resin and sugar production.

Conclusion:

It was an easy grow, under less than ideal conditions.
Needs space, seemed easy to LST/scrog.

*Did NOT like < ph 6.6 in veg., the reaction was dramatic to say the least.

Follow the K.I.S.S. method with this one.
No signs of any of the problems associated with this strain.

I would not hesitate to grow this strain again.

Smoke report when, um, er, I smoke it.

Thomo howdy;.............. you mentioned fert probs posibly during veg Thomo....................... i hope you dont mind, but i noticed you vegged at 6.6-7 Ph.

have a look here; veg Ph normally wouldant exeed 6.3, as 'calcium" is blocked out of uptake with others at 6.6-7 in veg Thomo >> could explain some nute issues possibly deficiency's,.....AM

Phos is depleted as is K, magnesium Thomo >>

influence Of Ph On plant nutrients

Ph chart

Hope you dont mind coment, Start seedlings at 6.1, move through to 6.4, before you move up to 6.5-6.6 at start of flower, and end of flower can be 6.8 Ph ........... AM

Ya, that would be the normal MO for some, however, trying to feed these girls with PH under 6.6 resulted in yellow lower leaves, even dropping a few...

OVERNIGHT!! That's less than 24 hrs.

Tried 3 times during the grow to drop the PH with the same dramatic results.

Figured I'd give her what she asked for, not what I though she needed.

In the end, she turned out ACES.

Only negative to me is no "blueberry" smell.

The 'look' of fert problems was cured with the slight warming of the rootball.
