@Ch@ppers YES i tink your spot on there bro, nice! The yellow legs give this beautiful chap away, looks like it's gangsta name is Amblyteles armatorius, but da 'family' call them 'Ichneumonid' :badass:

Y, and, amongst other things they like hops, larvae used to be called "hop dogs" by the pickers, presumably because of the hair and "tail".  Said to have irritant / allergic reaction-inducing hairs which would fit given how they advertise themselves (as being bad to eat).  At this time of year probably not eating much but looking for somewhere to turn into a pupa ready to overwinter.
