FTG Posted September 3, 2004 Share Posted September 3, 2004 Hi Guys, Ive got all my components to build a DIY CF, only one thing I cant find any info on is how thick should the layer of carbon be ?. What I did was, with the lights on in the box and figuring that if I could see light the smell could get out, looked down onto the filter and poured slowly just until the last of the light disappeared.
