Guest nav182 Posted August 1, 2004 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Hi J.A.S The only way to see for sure how ready your girls are is to buy a cheapy light microscope, I picked mine up for £20 from Maplins although I think you can pick a decent one up for a tenner if you take a look around. Looking at the pistils is considered a good indication but generally not as reliable as the trichomes. If your trichs start turning from clear to milky this is a good sign that your girls are nearing readyness. The longer you leave it (When they start going a rich amber the plants THC levels have peaked and are in decline) the heavier the stone.
