Snoffle
... cannachoc sounds good & nutritious too  . If you squint your eyes up in poor lighting conditions then a pineapple canna-choc contains two of your five-a-day. I plan to make chopped almond & raisin cannachocs* which will have three ... maybe a trip to the cookie shop. In my experience highly technical, complicated and/or dangerous tasks should be completed before administering choccy or choccies. Today I have only simple, mundane tasks planned so I am able to bring you ... [Glacé] Ginger cannachoc taste report Yum! Possibly a little light on ginger, but then again I ain't eating them for the ginger  Bang on 30 mins in and it's starting to make its presence nicely felt. A nice felt present. Aye up, time to giggle "I'll be back", he said. * One day I'll decide whether I prefer the hyphen or not.
Snoffle
Fruit & Nut Munchies ate my raisins so these were chopped almonds and blueberries, 160g dark chocolate, 14g of September Annie - aiming for 20 chocs at 0.7g. Melt the choc and annihilate the bud in the coffee grinder as normal and pour part of the cannachoc mix into the mould Chuck a few chopped almonds in And a few blueberries ... the ones the munchies didn't eat And pour the remaining cannachoc mix on top. I didn't really have enough choc mix left so I had to poke them with my choccy spatula to get the almonds and blueberries covered in cannachoc - I think 200g would be a better amount of choc for this mould and recipe. After 45mins in the fridge, front Back Middle Very nice! I could have easily munched another just for the taste. Probably wisest to stick to one for now. e2a: "I had to poke them with my choccy spatula" - fnarr, fnarr Edited October 6, 2011 by Snoffle
goldie_2007
By a string of unfortunate coincidences one of the Purple Pineapple chocs fell, lost its wrapper in mid-air then landed in my mouth. Just as this happened the wrapper was hit by an amazingly dextrous gust of wind which folded the wrapper and chucked it in the bin. This seemed such an unlikely set of circumstances that I was shocked into reflexively swallowing the chocolate. Gonna have to try some of these chocs myself I think
Snoffle
Go for it goldie_2007, eating bud is top notch family fun (depending on the family, of course). And as Bill said, nutritious too. Theses fruit and nut ones are rather splendid with the almonds disguising the grittiness of da 'erb and the blueberries adding a nice fruity taste and chewy texture to the mix. Plus of course they contain three of your five a day. Caution: may also contain slight exaggeration. Eighteen fruit and nut cannachocs "Eighteen? I thought you made twenty". "I did". Snoffle
Thankee kindly! I got mine from an online cakes cookies and crafts shop dot co dot uk  They do all kinds of things useful for the canna chef - some of which I can get slightly cheaper at a local specialist cooking store. e2a: indeed. Pepe Ramon
Great thread dude. I was just wondering if you had tried Camp Liquid Coffee as a flavouring?
Snoffle
I reckon Camp would have too much water content and would make the chocolate go thick and difficult to pour. Sorry for late reply - I'm a lazy feck. Haven't made any canna chocs for a while - still munching my way through the Blue Peter "ones I made earlier". The fruit and nut ones are definitely my current favourites. They are actually quite pleasant to eat ... doing a reasonable job of masking the unpleasant weed taste and texture. I took five in a tin to a friend's wedding do - ate three and had a great time! I plan to try an orange flavour next using Valencian orange essence and orange peel. That may be better as a non-canna choc though (same as the mint flavour). Updates will come, eventually, but I'm enjoying the fruits of my labours for the next few months
Pepe Ramon
No worries dude, my replies don't exactly come thick and fast. I tried making some chocolate using your method. I think I may have used too much chocolate, I used 250g & 10g of weed, next time I will only use 150g of chocolate. I had a nice buzzy head off it though.
