BushDoctoR Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 my latest crop is a right stinker, it is overpowering my diy carbon filter, and can be smelled from the hallway, which is a problem (and im only 3 weeks into flower as well) apart from buying new carbon, what else can i do?? would those orange mate sprays be any good??? how often is carbon supposed to be replaced and just how much should you use?? peace, [b-Dr] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Purple Peace Pipe Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 Ive just bought a carbon filter, and was talking with the dude in the shop about this. Basically the filter should last about a year before it needs refilling. That is providing the filter matches the size of the fan. If your fan is too big for the filter, it will run out quicker. He reeled off a load of numbers about fan and filter sizes, but that went straight over my head so I just went for the one that he said was the right size. Hope that helps mon..
