Sweet Cheese & Jack47

I have had to tie up the Cheese as she can not hold her own weight and kept falling over(she has nowhere near as big buds as the SAD).

SAD is the fastest out of the three plants and has piled on the weight over the last couple of weeks. I have noticed that with the cooler nights and humid mornings one of the main colas is starting to look like it has some mold issues. I have cleaned a few little buds on her and opened up the buds on the main colas to help aerate them. I have also took her out of her pot and she is sat on the same upside down turned pot to help dry out the medium. Any more tips on what I could do are more than welcome guys n gals.

Coming along nicely, how much longer do you plan to leave them?.

Hi there erb, thats a very good question but I don't have the answer, its in natures hands.

I think the Jack47 will go at least a month if not more and she is very tall, I have no chance of getting her under cover if it starts to rain alot. (Will have to throw a poncho over her).

The Cheese looks a little faster but from indoor experience she will hold out just as long as jack47.

Looking more like aN early Nov harvest, (weather/mold dependent).

SAD will be finished soon, everyday I am fighting a brown almost mold like problem with one of the main colas, I am inclined to think it is from caterpillars as on all three show signs, (nibbled brown pistils/small leaves) I have only seen a few this year, but I think they go into the buds and do most of their damage, I will not spray the plants with anything against caterpillars as I find it a ridiculous practice as everyday my garden is full of moths and butterfly's.

So in answer to your question, its outta my hands mate, or at least until they are ready or I HAVE to harvest them early for what-ever reason I will try and leave them out for as long as possible.

Thanks for passing by.

SC

The Sweet girls are noticeably getting bigger every day now, I am really thinking about harvesting the one problematic cola on the SAD. She is getting very little if not no water, I am now watering every 2-3 days with 4ml FishMix

Today I pulled 4 fair sized caterpillars from the 3 plants, they are holding out well but the damage 1 can do over night is very worrying.,

You can see the difference in that the SAD is finishing and the cheese and J47 still look very healthy.
