hashhead
hey peeps, just thort id ask if this is a gud idea..... our room is waaay too big for our tiny seedlings (4wks old n a few 2wks old) so i decided 2 build a kinda grow 'box' i basically got a large carboard box and cut 8 holes in it, 6 for our compact fluros to poke thru and a hole at either end for air to be blown thru by the 16'' oscilating fan, i have so far bacofoiled the lid and one of the sides (dull side of course) is there any major problems this may cause? i made this box to reduce light escaping the grow area and to keep heat from the lamps in thanks, hashhead

PurpleHeaven
Shoudlnt be too much of a fire hazard with only compact floros which dont produce much heat. I lost three of my 11 nl seedlings early on because of either lack of light for the first 3 days (glolux in the mail) or because of the %90-100 humidity inside the humidty dome, with no air circulation! This might not help you, but be aware of the noob mistakes.... PS which of the two issues do you think is more likely to have killed some of them??
