New Drobe/virgin Grower - Sum Ideas From Da Pros Please...

Hey all,

Thinking of doing a Tall Cupboard Grow, 2 doors. Dimensions are (H)175cm x (W)70cm x (D) 50cm.

The things i need help with.

  1. What size fans will i need, and what fans exactly? Thinking some PC Fans? - Views Needed.
  2. What will i use for a carbon filter??? - I have read other Topics...Do not send me to other topics, just write what u think i would need specifically. Thanks
  3. Ducting and air venting system? Need some photos of sum previous drobe grows please, so i can see how exactly it is constucted.
  4. Also if my cupboard is too cold, how do i get it to the right temp needed.
  5. Also what other little bits and bobs will i need if i am doing it in comp and doing 2 plants.

Would like some serious help guys. This is my first attempt at anything, so some serious thoughts please guys!!!!

Not a pro mate but can give ya sum of the basics.

What kind of light u thinkn?

If u use cfl light then for fans u wil need.

120mm pc fan for extraction at the top make sure it has a high cfm at least 80cfm

then get a 80mm pc fan for intake at the bottom at least 40 or 50 cfm.

If your using a metal halide (mh) or high pressure sodium (hps) i wud say a 250w wud b plenty for that box. 400w wud create 2 much heat and probs burn the plant due to how close it wil get in later stages.

U will need a 4" fan for extraction and a 120mm pc fan for intake, if you use a 250w mh or hps.

For a carbon filter u can get a 4" for bout £25 or make your own, check the diy guides there very useful!
