They've 'ad 4 weeks in a 3" rockwool under a 125w enviro, fimmed em and now 6 greedy little heads are poking out. They've been popped in a nft 424 today, let's see what appertains people. elbows Posted December 15, 2009 Author Share Posted December 15, 2009 (edited) Day 3 EC's been too high and I've now tuned the pump down to half power for 15 mins every hour as the cubes were getting flooded and the plants were drooping. To be fair to em, they had a bad start, I've chucked a water heater in with em (although it doesn't seem to come on an awful lot and tank gets quite cold, not sure of it allows for a drop in temp first before it raises it again?). There roots are taking off a bit now too. I've added some bio-link plus which seems to be helping. No2 plant is 'ead and tails above number 1, but no1's catchin up. I'm having to apply a little patience with mine. My past 2 grows have vegged in 17-18 days but this one is taking a bit longer. Another 4 maybe 5 days should do it,then i can get onto 12/12 and save some leccy. As far as tips go mate,all i can really say is "try to stay on top of it,when they hit the screen" I train every day so nothin gets out of my control. If left for a couple of days you may find that the stems thicken-up and bending can be a bit trickier.
