I can only see the triches around the edges. my scope has a light underneath but still doesn't come thru that bright. I think I'll cut me losses and look at getting something else. But as soon as you get into really high class precision Japanese optics like Meiji it costs big time. http://www.microscopy-uk.org.uk is a good place to look and learn.
