murran
im growing with bio bizz all mix .the ph of my water before adding feeds is 7.7. Once the feeds have been added its 7.3. Should i be making any effort to lower the ph as i know the ideal level should be about 6.2 or should i not worry and just add some epsom salts, if this is the case how much should i add ?and should it be added to every watering? Vlad (the impala)
forget ph!!!!!!!!!! That's one of the great advantages of doing it organically - all-mix is self-buffering, unless you have very peculiar water, just don't worry! A ph of 6.2 is used in hydro systems, which are totally different! Add Epsom salts once or twice only throughout growth - it doesn't affect ph much, but again, don't worry - leave nature to it! Suggest losing your ph meter, its like having a medical dictionary - you imagine you've got everything from scrofula to the dreaded "mississippi ninge", when you're probably fit as a flea! murran
thanks farmweb. i wish my hydro shop had told me that it would have saved me £70. Am i right in thinking i use 1 tablespoon of epsom salts disolved in hot water to 10 litres of feed.
