Guest Sublime
Yes once a day when they are bigger. When small from seed i water every 2 days but not for long, pick the pots up to judge the weight. Use pebs but i dont i use just coco give them both ago see if thier is any difference. jedi hempster
[if u don hav a moisture meter get one . itl say dry moist and wet are the measuremnts .after a coupl of days stick the meter probe in the pot and follow wat its reading as the tip goes to the bottom.your looking to see what level the wet is at . when ther is only adry readin at the top inch and a moist reading at the bottom of the pot ,its time to water.but if u cant get one u can put a fingr in the top inch or so , if its dry its time to watr. im not a fan of that because some root masses hold moisture mor than others .over watering is the most common mistake made by box farmers. hav fun and good lizzel

FAI
Hi - I grow in the loft with coco. 4 litre pots would be a bit too small for my liking. The smallest ones I use are 6 litres.....I also use 11 litre pots. I've found coco works best when kept constantly moist......I'd advise getting some good drip trays - they don't mind standing in a bit of the run-ff IME Once plants are well rooted, you will need to water them once a day to keep the coco nice and moist.....it's surprising how much they drink. Coco works very well on a dripper system......wilma and tropf blumat systems are worth a look During the summer months in the loft, you would be watering 4 litres pots twice a day. Mono
Haha, I grow in the loft in 3.5litre pots with coco.... My first coco grow, but I use drip trays, and will overwater in summer..... I been having a few teething problems, but I'm starting to see the advantages of coco, AMAZING root formation..... Keep it moist as FAI says, but then evry few days, week or so, I give them a good overwater till run off..... I haven't used pots bigger than 3.5litre 6inch square ones for years..and even in very hot summers (in the past in woefully underextracted, overheated grows) have always got away with it....definitely once a day though when they get to size... thecrystalcatcher
hi mate, i just started scrog with coco and i'm hand watering. if your looking for fast root progress then imo coco is what ya need. i have never seen roots so thick and grow so fast as i have with coco. and yes mate as said above i would be looking at watering daily, but u may want to finish in larger pots th mate. good luck man TCC

woodbutcher32
Use square pots they save space (If you're not already) can't you squeeze to 6no. 11 litre pots? you can push to 48hrs. between waterings (though every day is better) and another week of veg will bring a good increase in yield. dm@n
I am currently hand watering in coco and watering daily in flower, but every 2 or 3 days when vegging, i went from 100mm x 100mm pots straight into final 10l pots with driptrays under. I have 1 litre of clay pebbles in bottom of pots for drainage. I water unntil i get a 10%run off and leave plants to stand for half hour if they dont suck it up i pour it away.
