hemp playboy Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 600w are the most efficient HPS 90k lumens (intensity of light measured over time) from a 600w 55k lumens from a 400w I'd go for one 600w over two 400ws With the money you save - get yourself a heat deflector - allowing you to drop the ditance between light and plant top... and we all know what this means... Mmm, heat out of the loft (Puffer), thats gonna be tricky. I have a chimney stack running up but not sure hammering out a vent hole in that is such a good idea. Need to think on this one.
