SubSpecies
12 years later..... How you guys n gals getting on with 'cleaner' tobacco brands? Anyone have opinions on the rolling brands: Pueblo, Manitou, and the 'American Spirit' as mentioned, or even more so the Grabba leaf (Jamaican name for unadulterated homegrown tobacco plant as im doing). Overall, if quitting doesn't work then it's best i grow your own tobacco right? Peace

Silk cut is good no dirty feeling from the tar etc if you have a cig habit probably wouldn’t even satisfy, shame it costs a shitload
Nervous
If you're looking for "clean" try American Spirit or Pueblo. Dry as fuck but they don't have additives put in them. Failing that, grow your own. I have a few liter jars full of the stuff presently. Dead easy.
GrowYourOwn
In Denmark they actually roast their cigs and I’ve done this a few times but can’t remember the result They lick or wet the end of the cig then spit roast it under a lighter type thing, apparently burns off a lot of chemicals in the cig... Nervous
From a science POV - A lot of the nasty stuff won't evaporate. Just use your tent (if you grow) to do one big golden v plant. I'd say outside but it's past the time for planting.
bbbl
Personally i use pueblo, but i think the lightest (and cheapest) baccy i've smoked is probably gold leaf, shit has almost no taste to me at least.
BodhiGarden
Back when I was a smoker (now been vaping about 5 years) I tried pueblo but as nervous said, is very dry and I didn't get on with it. No good for shotties back when I used to do them, fuck knows the damaged those things caused to my lungs lol. But my tobacco of choice was cutters choice, found most others too strong. But yea if your not a smoker I wouldn't start that's for sure.

Yeah, you can buy little clay stones you soak in water and then leave in the pack, they keep them moist
-1earth-
American Spirit Blue is supposed to be the "least" toxic hand rolling tobacco available in the UK - free of all kinds of processes used in others - though one would have to ask the (presumably dead by now) test chimp/s for their opinions. A better flavoured roll is Cutter's Original imo. Edited August 11, 2020 by -1earth-
