Copper moves in next door...

I have been using bud for best part of a decade. Without it, my tinnitus (ringing in the ears) will easily keep me awake until 3-4am...

 

My problem now is that a copper has moved in next door some months ago, I live in a mid-terraced house. I use a Utillian 722vaporizer. (I don't smoke it anymore) Ever since he moved in, I have only vaped when outside walking the dog but this is no good when the weather is shit or come the winter etc etc.

 

What would you do in this situation? Not sure if I'm overthinking or not. I have tried to go down the medical cannabis route but they want proof of two prior treatments, but I can only provide proof of one. Plus it seems much more costly? For years, I haven't needed to use other traditional medications because cannabis does the job and it seems silly just for the sake of ticking a box.

Install an extraction fan with carbon filter in your living room or designated smoke room.  Vape smell isn't as intense and penetrating as regular joints which is already a good thing and windows tend to stay close during winter.  Try to figure out his shifts perhaps...

Thank you. I do have an extractor fan in the bathroom upstairs which is properly ducted out to the roof. Would this suffice?

no, you need a carbon filter, a reasonable one, and you will struggle to connect it.

You'll smell of it. The vapour is oily, sits on a surface and coats you with it. We regular users are nose-blind.

I agree, use a carbon filter on an extractor fan or buy / make a sploof, a tube that you blow your fumes out through and it removes the smell - or both. I havent checked the blow, but copied it from daily high club.

I guess an inline carbon filter with ducting you can blow your vapour into would be great, but from what I have seen, the inline carbon filters are more expensive than the ones at the end of the ducting that we use.

I think you're over reacting. I've lived next to my neighbour for 15 years, I've just found out he's loves weed, he vapes too. He had no idea I like weed even though I grow next door in a terrace with skinny walls and I used to smoke for about 10 years of him living next door.

I've had 1 living next door to me for years now, its a ball ache.. as said cheap fan and cf will deal with that no problem.. Best solution if you want to be sure the smell is scrubbed imo
