Demdoll Posted July 16, 2023 Share Posted July 16, 2023 soooooo, i may be in the minority here(i usually am!) but i don't think legalisation will be an overall good thing for people like “us”! im gonna list a few pros and cons that i can think of, if anyone wants to add too the list it may even change my mind! Pros: cant get nicked for a poxy henry no weed droughts(although these are really a thing of the past now) high grade available on demand testing and certification, im hearing horror stories lately of scumbags spraying spice and all sorts on the bud! but then again spray tainting is nothing new anyway! Cons: literally the WHOLE thing will be! from hugely over priced product to the piss and guff marketing that comes along with it! they will prob be more likely to jail percy growers then also because it will then be under the umbrella of some kind of tax dodge! nah, keep it illegal for me all the way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Fuck the lot of them , keep calm and carry on growing Just ignore the lagalities and as long as your growing for percy should the worst happen go to court and have your day !! Its not until we all just ignore them and do our thing ...only then i believe they will take notice ? Lets face it , they claim the County Lines thing is a huge problem , for policing / for the welfare of kids / for the money making associated with mainly the criminal fraternity - So grow your own , be a good citizen and this assists all of the above Fuck em all and get your grow on Just my take on it as see the jumping up & down and fantasising about the legal side of things as futile in my humble opinion sir. When i can do it for myself regardless of the legalities !! Its not like i sell or involve kids , all i do is grow my own gear for my own use and mainly medicinal use at that ,,,, why should i pay the old boys club ! Mate regardless of length of tenure here we get these types of posts every other week , no disrespect to you or your stance / views , its an old hat topic , poss using the site search features on her would highlight his and give an insight to the views your seeking sir. im generally one of the more pleasant individuals on here and i apologis if i came across as off'ish ! awesomesauce Posted October 11, 2023 Share Posted October 11, 2023 (edited) Pro as you said, easier to get and pick your quality/strain in comfort. ability to become a legal commercial grower, quit your shitty IT job (or whatever) work in the cannabis industry full time, whether growing or selling in a shop etc more socially acceptable, smoke venues would be cool to meet like minded people less expose to other drugs, dealer not offering you hard drugs when you go buy no more buying rubbish compressed imported weed no criminal records or fear when growing (big one) cons having to buy a license to grow or smoke or sell. or if refuse risk getting fined for not having one Having to pay tax on legally purchased cannabis would suck as I dislike supporting the government (they have enough tax) Honestly even if it was legal, people would still grow and sell without a license. Just personally I wouldn't bother buying from the darknet, if I could go to a shop and buy some quality bud even if it meant paying tax. convenience > most things People growing would probably go down as people that only grow for the bud and don't enjoy growing would just go buy at the shop. While people that enjoy growing will probably make a job out of it. So not a good or bad, just what I think would happen. Home grow indoors hobbyists would be less but people would be more inclined to grow outdoors in summer for sure.
