vapcap cap loose

Recently got a new dynavap 'M' and the cap is really loose, compared to my old one. Is this normal? I've given it a pinch to sort of tighten it up, so it's now slightly oval rather than round. Anyone had similar and is there any other tricks to it? Cheers!

Have you used the dynavap with the new cap much? I found after a few heat up cycles mine seemed to get tighter.

Before I first used it my replacement cap was falling off. Its a fairly tight fit now
