First Concentrates Rig / Xvape Vista Mini 2

Recommended Posts

A few years behind the times as ever.....  but I'm going to have a go at getting more into concentrates from the next few harvests.   I've been getting some nice clean hash from the last few harvests which I've been enjoying in the Pax and I managed to pick up a 2nd hand rosin press the other day which I'm well up for messing around with.

My current vapes go up to 210c,  so looking at a dedicated concentrate device that gets to the higher temps - 300-400c

I generally prefer the idea of an e-rig / concentrate e-rig vs a torch and glass/banger

1) I'll smash the thing in a few days. It'll live in the garage

2) I want to stroll around the garden, go fishing with something

3) I have never seen a bubbler/recycler/glass that isn't going to be a kid magnet interest wise, so looking for an understated

The old Puffco level devices look great at £300+  but I fancy dipping my toe in with something like an Xvape Vista Mini 2   -  thought I'd throw this thought/purchase process to you and see what you are using and any thoughts/advice on concentrate units?

Don’t know about the vista models but I do know that xvape did the v1 before and prob had 50% battery failure rate other than that it was ok.

Im in the same boat mate, as in im just starting to think about getting in to concentrates. I was considering the Daab e-rig by Ispire (who do the wand that im also wanting to get) and the core 2.0 e-rig. Im thinking to get the stache RiO first but thats a torch rig so might not be for you. Worth checking the out the 2 e-rigs if youve not already:yep:

@GreenOval

I have a few mod box based atomisers that could be exactly what you want.

A cheapish artic fox enabled mod with a few batts is about £45. Divine tribe dtv5 another £55. You could get a cheap bubbler for it if you wanted but I run mine native.

Replacement buckets cheap but I'm on the same one for months now and I run it much higher wattage.

The sequoia is pretty good also. Bit more robust but I prefer the dtv5 for it's better bucket heating.

I did own a small qomo device with quartz bucket but its default temp settings are too hot.

Daab and the core 2.0 (which uses same buckets as dtv5) are also solid I hear but bulkier with built in water. More breakable and less subtle.

Have a look at recommended vape supplies who specialise in such devices. Matt is very helpful.

Lastly, my tinymight og handles rosin really well and the soon to be released version 2 has even higher temperatures aimed at concentrate use.....

probably no help whatsoever, but the as yet unreleased v2 version of the tinymight may do concentrates.... told you it wouldnt help!

i mention it as im kinda in the same boat..

I got the Flowerpot Pro desktop for flower, but it also does concentrates, so got myself a 5 ton dabpress and would now like a portable vape to do concentrate.

I also dont like the idea of torches and glass hanging out of my pockets.. between headphones, book, dog lead, shopping.... oi!

Did they?!  That's a worry.   I'll have to do some digging on whether they are still having those problems, it might strike out the Vista2.  Thanks for raising :yep:
