Giventofry
Morning all!! Just reading up on making brownies with some bubble hash i made from trim. Ive searched and read up, but found conflicting views. I have 6g of surprisingly strong dry bubble, 2g Ill keep for smoking. Do I decarb 110c for 30 mins? Problem is, with a fan oven it will blow everywhere like the bread crumbs i tried!! Is it ok to cover the hash with baking parchment and a baking tray? Will that still decarb the hash? Ill be adding the hash to butter, melting in for 30 mins, then adding choc and sugars before baking for 30 mins. Isnt that enough to decarb?? All the best all!! M Pamplemousse
The cooking process will decarb for you. No need to treat as a separate process.... Good luck...

KC
How long does it take to cook? Decarbing can be a bit of a minefield, i'd want to make sure it's done fully just not to waste bubble. It's very precious! You can decarb in a dish with a lid to stop it getting disturbed by the fan oven. I'd keep an eye on it, I think 30 mins would be a bit long for bubble, it would probably disintegrate. I used to do 20.
Aurora Ruderalis
With the butter melting, chocolate adding, and cooking process id say the recipie itself has enough time built into it. I find the same with flapjacks.

Then its mixed with flour and eggs etc, In oven for 25 mins if you like them squidgy ( and why wouldnt you) 30 if youre a wrong un and like them "cakey" Ive found some pryrex dishes with lids so am probably gonna decarb for 20 or 30 with lid loose on top. Also decided, fuck it, 6g going in!! Got a bubbleman washing machine coming soon so will have some more bubble in 3 weeks!! All the best all!! All the melting is at a low heat, less than 110c which seems to be the correct temperature for decarb. But reading more I see people do decarb hash before baking, if that makes it stronger, Ill just go for it!! All help appreciated all!! It just disintegrated. Smelling more than baking with "normal" hash.
