Hempire Road
Does anybody know any stretches on the river trent where you can night fish with a bivvy for barbel and predators etc.? Do they actually allow that?
catweazle1
Laughterton - pay on the bank (LDAA). This tidal section of the River Trent hosts 40 pegs, access is via Marsh Lane, LN1 2JX. Parking is on the end of Marsh Lane. No bank parking. Check there's no matches as you have to leave by 0830.I'm sure Newark Piscatorial have stretches you can fish passed the weir at Newark: newarkpiscatorial.co.uk Familiarise yourself where the high tide mark will be before you pitch bivvy! The undercurrent is very strong and you really need 3lb+ rods and 4-6oz leads. Been a fair few years since I fished around there, so a bit rusty where to go.
