Gov U turn on Fishing

So it looks like the Angling Trust has managed to get the government to U turn on the fishing ban. They argued about it being good for mental health. I am going to join the AT as they have done a great job keeping us fishing through this shit.

You have to stay local though, I have got a smaller commercial 10 mins drive so I can go there.

Just read the update this morning, is great news.  Was just thinking we were going to miss out on this years predator season.

All my favourite venues are out of my district, both club and day tickets.

All I have in my district is a small commercial which is basically a couple of small puddles in the ground. It’s frustrating as there a few decent fisheries that are just over the district border that are a lot closer to me than the puddles, never mind.

If anyone is confused the district is your local council district.

I am staying at home as my favourite day ticket waters are saying don’t come unless local, I will stay away for now and see what pans out I guess. Good luck to anyone who can get out, lucky people.

They have done a great lobbying job, the AT, and I shall also join as a result I think.

Local council district, that's some good clarification, thanks @Smokebelch

If I had a certain local club membership I could fish about 7 or 8 different gravel pits and a few sections of the Thames...but I haven't at the moment. My Severn syndicate is forbidden. Certainly no sea fishing. lol

I'm kind of happy just keeping my head down at the moment to be honest.
